Spring is a season of movement.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this time of year is associated with the Liver system and the smooth flow of Qi and Blood. When that flow is unrestricted, the body moves the way it’s meant to—without tension, without pain.

But when things get stuck, it often shows up in the muscles first.

Tight bands, trigger points, stiffness, and recurring pain patterns are not random. They’re a sign that circulation isn’t happening the way it should—both from a TCM perspective and a neuromuscular one.
This is where acupuncture, and more specifically trigger point therapy / dry needling, becomes especially effective.

By directly targeting dysfunctional muscle tissue, we can:
• Release chronic tension
• Improve circulation
• Reduce pain
• Restore normal movement

Spring is the ideal time to address these patterns. The body is already shifting toward change, which makes treatment more effective and longer lasting.

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing tightness, pain, or restricted movement, this is the time to get ahead of it.
I have openings starting April 9.

In Chinese Medicine, the winter is the season of metal. It’s a time for going inward and for prioritizing nourishment, calm, and preservation of energy.

Our modern society asks the same of us in terms of energetic output year round. In fact, we are often made to feel slow, sluggish, or unmotivated if we feel the desire to slow down with the world around us.

This is your confirmation (if you needed one) that a desire to be slow, to eat more warm foods and drinks (more often!) and to conserve energy is a symptom of our inherent connection to nature. We are part of the world around us. Find the ways you can to honor a slow existence in this metal season. 🖤

Headaches aren’t always “in your head.”
This patient came in dealing with persistent headaches and neck tension. Using trigger point therapy + dry needling, we addressed the muscular patterns contributing to their pain — and the results spoke for themselves.

If you’ve tried meds, stretching, or “just living with it” and nothing has stuck, there is another approach.

✨ Targeted. Orthopedic-based. Root-cause focused.
Now accepting new patients.

Winter is a time to nourish, rest, and protect your energy—and Chinese medicine gives us a guide for how to do it right. ❄️

In TCM, winter is Kidney season, the organ system tied to energy, bone health, and resilience. Cold weather, late nights, and overexertion can weaken your root energy and leave you more prone to stress, pain, or illness.

Here’s how to protect your body this winter:
• Eat warming, nourishing foods – soups, root vegetables, and bone broth
• Move gently, but consistently – yoga, short walks, or light resistance work
• Prioritize rest & sleep – kidney energy thrives in quiet, restorative cycles
• Support with acupuncture & herbs – targeted care strengthens your foundation
Winter isn’t just a season to survive—it’s a season to recharge your body from the inside out.

💡 Tip: Even 20 minutes of mindful warming practices daily can help your energy stay strong until spring.
If you feel constantly tired, sore, or “off” this season, acupuncture can help restore balance and resilience.

This is not relaxation acupuncture.
This is targeted, clinical treatment based on how your nervous system, organs, and muscles actually communicate.

Abdominal acupuncture can be used to support:
• Chronic pain patterns
• Stress & nervous system dysregulation
• Digestive and hormonal concerns
• Recovery when the body feels “stuck”

Quiet. Intentional. Evidence-informed care.

I have a few new patient openings available.

Chronic low back pain isn’t always about one bad movement —
often it’s the same positions, day after day.
Tattoo artists, bodyworkers, and anyone who works bent, twisted, or braced for hours:
That dull, achy, persistent low back pain is usually coming from overworked glutes, QL, and fascial restriction.
My approach for repetitive strain pain may include:
• Dry needling for glute medius/minimus & quadratus lumborum
• Acupuncture to open restricted fascial planes
• E-stim to calm irritated muscle groups
• Cupping or Gua Sha to improve circulation & recovery
You don’t need to “push through” pain to keep doing what you love.
You just need the right treatment.
