Oracle Cards for Runners! Here's a sneak peak of some of the cards of this 44 card deck ✨

These cards were created with the intention of providing you guidance for your running practice.

Guidance through it all; when you're consumed with fear and self doubt, when you feel like a bad ass, when when you've lost motivation, when you're burned out, when you're filled joy, when you signed up for the big race, when you got that PR, etc. These cards support and guide you through it all.

Each card has an image, a mantra, and an affirmation. I have also created a guidebook that provides a deeper explanation of each card through a poem and a reflection question.

These cards can be used in a number of ways:
✨Daily Card Pull: pull a card in the morning to start your day and let it guide you
✨Pre-run: pull a card before you run and invite-in its guidance and messaging as you run
✨ Setting your running intention: pull a card and let its words provide clarity on why you're running to connect with your running practice.
✨ Setting Goals: pull 3 cards and let its guidance define 3 key actions for your training.
✨Your Training Cycle: pull 6 cards, one for each phase of your training and your race, and define your mindset for each phase of your training.
✨Where Am I Assessment: pull 3 cards- past, present, and future and get clarity on how the past and present is feeding your future.
✨Preparing for Challenges: pull 3 cards and get an understanding of the mindset and energy needed to navigate upcoming challenges
✨Activating Confidence: pull 3 cards and understand what's blocking and feeding your confidence

In the guidebook, I detail how to create these various spreads.

My hope is that these cards are the words that remind you to keep going, to love yourself unconditionally, to feel the unshakeable trust within yourself, and to always feel and recieve the love and support around you ❤️🫶

And most importantly, these words become your own ✨❤️

Thank you for creating space for me to share something so special to me. 🙏 Let me know what you think!

Run Club is BACK! We’re so excited to see you for our upcoming run on Sunday, April 12th at 9am. As always, this run club is welcome to all levels of runners, joggers, and walkers. Bring your family and friends! All participants will receive a free donut.

Our running route starts at Fisherman’s beach and travels along the Lynnshore drive to Red Rock Park and back. This route is around 2 miles. For those who want longer distances, you’re more than welcome to run to Nahant rotary and back (3 miles), or to Nahant beach and back (4miles). Either way, plan on meeting at Dockside Pub where we'll meet and warm-up before the run.

After the run, I (Cara Gilman) will be hosting a 30 minute runners workshop on Intention Setting for those who are interested (optional). This will take place at 9:45 to 10:15am at the large blue booth (or at the outside tables if the weather is warm enough). During our session we will cover
✨Why intention setting is important
✨You’ll set your own running intention
✨How to make your running intention an active part of your running practice

Lastly, we’re so excited to announce that we’re making Dockside Run Club t-shirts! Run club members can “earn” their shirt through attendance. More details to come!

We can’t wait to see you! If you plan on coming, please RSVP. This helps with our donut count, tracking attendance for the Dockside Run Club shirt, and planning of the intention setting workshop.

Friends! Give out those high fives, big smiles, and positive encouragement to runners/walkers. They make a HUGE impact! I share a story of a stranger/friend I used to see on my runs whom I would cheer on as would he 🫶🥹

I did it! At my Sacred Sweat class, I shared something I’ve been quietly creating behind the scenes for months.

It felt vulnerable. It felt scary. And all week, I went back and forth in my head. Is this good enough? Should I even share it? Or just keep it to myself?

But then I realized if just one person connects with what I’m creating, that’s enough. Not everyone will understand it or resonate with it and that’s okay.

For it to be true to me, it has to come from me. Trying to shape it into something for everyone else would only take away from what it’s meant to be.

So I did it.

And it felt incredibly liberating to share it. And to see people's reactions and the impact it had.

In that moment, I also realized I had unknowingly created a new path for myself and maybe that’s what scared me the most all along. I was moving more deeply into alignment with myself ✨

If you’re creating something, dreaming about something, and feeling scared to share it, this is your sign. Do it. I’m cheering you on.

And if you want to share what you’re working on, I’d love to hear it! Drop it below or DM me 💛

I'll be sharing this special project shortly! 🥰

Thank you for capturing this sweet moment .houseofyoga 🫶❤️🥰

Let's talk journaling! Do we love it, do we hate it? Journaling allows our intuition and inner voice to be heard, but does take practice as this can be challenging. Remember, there's no "right" way to journal. Focus on YOU and let the words spill onto those pages!

What are your questions? What's challenging for you? What do you love about Joe along. Tell me! ✨❤️

Don’t fixate on the outcome—the miles. Shift your attention to the input instead. What energy can you bring in that lets go of expectation and pressure, and allows you to simply enjoy the process?

A reminder for me on my run today ✨❤️
