What does it take to become the head chef at a senior living community? For our Chef Salvatore Pezzella, it’s the result of decades in the restaurant industry, mastering his craft in “blue zones” including Sardinia, and harnessing his skills and passion to bring nutritious and memorable meals to seniors. “I realized that my life’s work is to make people happy with food,” Chef Salvatore told Argentum. “When I work with seniors, I think of my mom, dad and grandma and how I love taking care of them with my food. This is why I cook.”
