Next up is First Waves Families!

First Wave Families is a Patty Center for family support located in Berlin that works with expectant parents & families with children up to 5 years old through partnership with Maryland Family Network. Parent education, child development, mental health supports, parent socialization activities, and more provided onsite with childcare classrooms staffed by early childhood professionals. We also have opportunities for parents pursuing educational or work goals a space to come in and work on their studies/tasks while children are in our classrooms. Any goals that we can help families achieve – we will find a way to help!

Worcester County MomCo!

Here at The MomCo, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together.

We host meetings twice a month from September thru May with videos & discussions relevant to motherhood. We also have playdates, mom’s nights, and family events through out the year. If you’re looking for your village, we’ve got you!

We have another vendor sneak peek!!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore’s (BBSES) children and families facing adversity in three focus areas which are Youth Enrichment Services, Mentorship, and Resources. Our goal is to cultivate experiences where all youth can feel included in the promise of opportunity and a better life. Once enrolled agency staff produce a customized Youth Outcome Development Plan to determine appropriate action that will foster the child’s resilience, stability, and psyche-social health. This and other agency tools help ensure positive outcomes.

Due to the support of organizations like yours, this past year, BBSES served 1,106 children and provided 8,409 resources to children and families facing adversity. Even just four hours a month with a mentor makes a Big Impact.

99% of children showed improvement in self-confidence.
99% of children showed improvement in ability to express feelings.
93% of children showed an improved sense of the future.
99% of children showed improved decision-making abilities.
