Quote from Task Force Commander Heffelfinger:
“The dangers we’re seeing right now are real, and they’re hitting families in our community hard. If you or someone you care about is using, please know that Narcan is free, it’s accessible, and it can give someone another chance to get help. One minute can make the difference between life and death.”
As always, if you witness an overdose, call 911 immediately.
Stay safe, North Vernon. We are here for you.
