Yohanna García — A Story of Strength, Heart, and Flavor

Yohanna García, originally from Charallave, Edo. Miranda Venezuela, arrived in the United States about 9 years ago in search of a new beginning and better opportunities for her future.

Like many immigrants, she worked hard and tried different jobs while adapting to a new country and culture. Through perseverance and determination, she kept moving forward.

Four years ago, Yohanna found her true passion: cooking. Today, she lovingly prepares delicious meals for the seniors at Las Palmas Senior Living in Hialeah, Florida.

Her work goes beyond simply preparing food. She brings warmth, comfort, and joy to the elderly residents through every dish she creates. For many of them, her meals are not just nourishment — they are a reminder of care, love, and home.
