This course will provide parents actionable tips and strategies to help navigate those challenging mealtime moments. Bethany will teach a framework for structuring mealtime that works for both you and your child. From understanding why your child is more selective in what they eat, to increasing interest around new foods, to using language swaps that empower your child, this class will leave you feeling ready to take on mealtime! Meet our Smart Play Therapy mascot!!

His interests:
❤ Spending time escorting kiddos to and from the sensory room
❤ Providing some heavy work to keep kids regulated
❤ Being the "patient" when the kids like to play doctor
❤ Hanging out in the pod swing so kids can play human bowling with their parents and SLPs as the pins 🎳

We love him around here but we never officially gave him a name. What do you think?? All suggestions are welcome!

We'll have the kids take a vote and let you know if your name was chosen!

What you see on the surface is only half of the picture! We are not in the business of only seeing half the picture!

In order to truly understand a child we need to look at the whole picture and support the child as a whole.

1. We start by making sure their nervous system is in check - do they feel safe and relaxed?
2. We get their sensory system regulated - do they need some deep pressure, do they need some time in the swing, do they need some heavy proprioceptive activities like crawling and pushing?
3. Lastly, we dive deep into their speech and language skills. This also requires us to dig below the surface and help the family figure out how to best support their child.

So I guess we are more like an "deep sea diving" kind of place 🤿😉
