Chase and David got to show off the inside of our aircraft after patient drop off at TMH. It’s always a pleasure to connect with the healthcare professionals who play such a vital role in patient care every day!
From the advanced medical equipment onboard to the unique challenges of providing critical care in the air, the visit was a great chance to share how our flight team works alongside hospital staff to deliver rapid, life-saving transport when every second counts.

🚁 A day in the life with AirHeart 2! 🚁
Earlier this week we had the pleasure of welcoming Abigayle Hall a medical student attending ACOM aboard AirHeart 2 as our third rider to shadow our crew and get an inside look at our daily helicopter EMS operations. From pre-flight preparation and safety checks to mission readiness and teamwork in action, Abigayle was able to see firsthand what it takes to keep our program ready to serve the community.

Our hearts are with our sister base, Alabama Life Saver 5, which had an incident on Sunday afternoon. We went on a short safety stand down to help support our teammates, but we are back in service and are ready to serve the community with the highest level of clinical excellence. We want to provide an update regarding an incident involving our Alabama Life Saver 5 aircraft on Sunday in Evergreen, AL. Three crewmembers were on board. Two remain hospitalized in stable condition and are receiving excellent care. The NTSB, along with the FAA and Air Methods, is investigating the cause.
