Chipola Area Autism Resource Center, Inc.

Chipola Area Autism Resource Center, Inc. CAARC is a local 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit charity founded to increase autism related educational/recreational resources in our rural community.

We are a not-for-profit autism resource center founded by parents and grandparents of children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We began meeting as the Jackson County Autism Support Group in 2010. We soon realized that there were many more services needed in our rural community and began organizing Chipola Area Autism Resource Center, Inc. to begin to address some of these needs.

Grab you friends, hunny, co-workers and join in on an evening to remember!

Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples 💕
It’s for celebrating connection — with friends, with community, and with a cause that matters.
Gather your favorite people and join us for the SweetSteps Dine & Dance Valentine’s Gala on February 14 at the Endeavor Convention Center. Whether it’s date night, a girls’ night out, or a fun evening with friends, this elegant night of dinner, music, dancing, and a silent auction is a great way to spend Valentine’s weekend.
Bring your Valentine, your Galentines, or just yourself. We'll bring the music and the dance floor. Come dressed up. Laugh a little louder. Make memories. And be part of something meaningful as we support NextStep at Endeavor Academy and the adults it serves.
💙 A night out that gives back.

🚗💡 Upcoming Webinar!

Access to driving is often a prerequisite for employment, education, and independence — yet many neurodiverse learners are asked to step behind the wheel before they truly feel ready.

At ASD Drive Ready, we’ve seen how driving simulation can play a critical role in Vocational Rehabilitation and Driver Education for individuals with and severe anxiety. Simulation provides a safe‑to‑fail environment where learners can build confidence, practice decision‑making, and reduce anxiety before transitioning to behind‑the‑wheel training.

In our upcoming webinar, ASD Drive Ready — led by its owner Richard (Rich) Greene 👨‍🏫 — will share:
🔹 How simulation bridges the gap between classroom instruction and behind‑the‑wheel training
🔹 Practical ways vocational rehabilitation programs and driving schools are using simulation today
🔹 Lessons learned from real‑world implementation with neurodiverse learners
🔹 What outcomes to expect — and what simulation is not meant to replace

📅 Monday, February 2nd
⏰ 5:00 PM Central | 6:00 PM Eastern
💬 Live session with real‑world insights + open Q&A
