Congratulations! 🎉 Here are some steps to take for a healthy and happy pregnancy:

1. Schedule a Prenatal Appointment: Book your first prenatal visit with your healthcare provider to confirm the pregnancy and start your prenatal care. 🩺

2. Take Prenatal Vitamins: Start taking prenatal vitamins with folic acid to support your baby’s development. 💊

3. Eat Nutritious Foods: Focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. 🥗

4. Stay Hydrated:Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and support your body’s changes. 💧

5. Exercise Safely: Engage in moderate exercise like walking, swimming, or prenatal yoga to stay active and healthy. 🧘‍♀️

As a certified birth Doula, I am a trained professional who offers professional and individual care to each family that I work with. 💜

I help with pain management techniques, relaxation and comfort to help you have a more enjoyable birthing experience whether it’s your first baby or your fourth baby each birth is different. ✔️

I don’t just teach from education, but also experience. I have given birth to all three of my children vaginally without an epidural, and I believe you can too. 💯

When you create a positive and supportive birthing environment, before and during labor there are better outcomes for both mom and baby. 👩🏽‍🍼

A cesarean birth wasn’t part of my this mom’s original birth plan, however it was best for baby to be healthy.

For those looking to avoid inductions that can lead to cesareans, consider these tips:
1. Stay active during pregnancy
2. Educate yourself and discuss all options with your healthcare provider
3. Trust your body’s natural birthing process
4. Avoid all unnecessary medical intervention at the start of early labor
5. Hire a doula to be apart of your birth team
6. Have patience. If both mom and baby are healthy, waiting for labor to start naturally can reduce the need for induction.

While every birth story is unique, the most important outcome is a healthy mom and baby. 💕

“Most helpful part of doula support is the love. Gervonne has been my doula for 2/4 pregnancies.

She was my doula with my first child and helped me deliver with no pain meds, as I wished and with my last baby she comfort me in any way possible… When my son passed she continued to go beyond and check in with me mentally and physically.

One perk I didn’t expect was Gervonne sticking by my side with my son due to his diagnosis. I expected her just reach out here and there after birth but instead she continue to go beyond her way to come and see my son and show him so much love, especially when he passed she still came to say her good byes… for my son ceremony Gervonne even showed up, showed her love and condolences.

Heck Yea! I recommend Gervonne to anyone and everyone. Planning to get pregnant or already is. Gervonne is an Angel. She loves you as her own family. She does so much for you .

If I ever do have another baby, yes Gervonne will be my Doula again! Not just because she been with me for 2 pregnancies but because she treated me well. She helped me with my birth and made sure everything went the way I wanted❤️

“The most helpful part of having doula support is having a knowledgeable advisor in my corner who can help me stand by my wishes during labor when the medical staff can be a little pushy.

The most unexpected perk has just been the reliability of having a resource that I could reach out to when I was nervous or concerned about anything. So many things pop up and it’s so reassuring to have that support.

Absolutely, I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone expecting to work with GerVonne. She’s knowledgeable, reliable and proactive with all your needs.

Both my pregnancies and births varied greatly from one another and she was versatile enough to help me in every situation.

“I am beyond thankful for GerVonne Pure Blessings Doula Services!

Gervonne was extremely knowledgeable. She provided me with many resources so that I could be as prepared as possible mentally and physically for labor.

The communication was great! I felt like I had someone who had my back and I could get in touch with at any moment!

Gervonne was very hands on and extremely prepared with anything I needed during labor like massagers for my back and peppermint oil for when I felt nauseous. Most importantly, while being supportive in every way she still made room for me to make my own choices that I felt were best for my baby and I.

Gervonne also made sure that our environment was calm and stress free. She made sure that I was taken care of by hospital staff and for that I am extremely thankful. She was most definitely the support I NEEDED!

And her care and support does not stop there. She gives support in any way needed after delivery.
