We had the pleasure of hosting students from Mount Pisgah Christian School at AIO Alpharetta on Monday, December 8th. Led by Brooke, Natalie, and Heidi, the visit supported their Science of Well-Being class and offered an inside look at how and why art is used in therapy.l 🎨

Students participated in a presentation on the benefits of therapy, what therapy is, and why art is such a meaningful tool for self-expression. They also explored hands-on activities including a Scribble Check-In, Beautiful Oops, Fire Art, Pass the Drawing, and creating Mindful Ornaments, each designed to support reflection, creativity, and emotional awareness.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share how creative practices support wellness and personal growth 🧠

Yesterday, Art It Out therapists, Ruth, Karen and Nafisat, hosted a Teacher Time-Out (the good kind!) with 💛 It was a drop-in space to pause, recharge, and practice a little self-care.
