Thank you to everyone for their outpouring of support and cooperation during this difficult time. The response has been overwhelming and the support has been nothing short of incredible. The care of our residents is our top priority and we wanted to take a moment to update everyone regarding their care and the steps we have taken to ensure we are keeping them as safe as possible:
1. At this time, no visitors are allowed except medical professionals who are screened before they enter the building. We are checking temperatures at the door and providing isolation supplies (masks, gowns, gloves, etc.)
2. We are checking residents temperatures throughout the day and keeping a VERY CLOSE eye on any change in conditions.
3. All employees are having their temperature and common symptoms checked before beginning their shift.
4. Arrangements have been made to ensure MLC is allocated the necessary amount of medical and sterilization supplies from our vendors and suppliers.
5. Some residents are being served meals in their rooms to ensure a measure of social distancing and all residents are required to wash/sanitize their hands before every meal.
6. Scheduled cleaning and sanitation is being performed throughout the day. This includes, but is not limited to doorknobs, remotes, keyboards, frequently used surfaces, etc.
Again, thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If anyone would like to drop off supplies for their loved one, you can do so. Please don’t hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns. God bless!
