Most do a great job at meeting these goals. Unlike most traditional doctors, we focus on Upper Cervical correction, which can and will affect the entire body

Dr. Berner utilizes the latest advancements in imaging and computer software to visualize the upper cervical spine. These images are then carefully analyzed in order to determine the specific nature of your problem. Once the misalignment is measured, a vector force is mathematically calculated and delivered via instrument assistance. The instrument assisted correction allows us to be gentle, precise, and repeatable without unnecessary twisting, popping or cracking. When optimally aligned, the entire spine functions in a balanced, self-maintaining manner and needs to be left alone until it is misaligned again. It is not necessary to adjust the spine over and over again when it is truly corrected and stabilized. Our goal is to achieve and maintain maximal strength and stability of your spine in the fewest number of adjustments and visits possible

POTS, cyclic vomiting syndrome, and dysautonomia are all conditions that involve a nervous system that isn’t regulating the body the way it should.

When the autonomic nervous system is out of balance, it can affect heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, nausea, and overall stability.

Even though the symptoms can look very different, they often trace back to the same underlying issue of nervous system dysfunction.

This patient had been to Mayo, ER, countless doctors until she found us. Structural problems in the upper can leave patients searching for answers for years. Are you suffering with odd symptoms? Comment “ANS” for info

Rocking, swaying, or feeling off-balance for months at a time can happen when your brain’s balance system gets stuck in a “threat” or compensation mode, even when you’re sitting still.

These sensations often come in waves because the nervous system can flare up with stress, inflammation, hormone shifts, or sensory overload.

When the brainstem and inner ear signals aren’t syncing properly, your body can feel like it’s moving even though it isn’t.

Could the real question be whether dysfunction in the neck or at the cranial cervical junction is quietly disrupting those brainstem signals and keeping the cycle going?

Comment “ROCK” for a detailed breakdown of the possible issues

The bump you feel at the base of your neck is usually a normal part of your spine, but problems in the cranial cervical junction — where your skull meets your upper neck — can affect the brainstem and nearby cranial nerves.

This area is extremely important because it helps control balance, blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing.

When there is instability, compression, or dysfunction in this region, it can disrupt how signals travel between your brain and body.

For people with dysautonomia, whose nervous system is already sensitive, that disruption can worsen symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint.

That’s why issues at the top of the neck can sometimes be connected to ongoing balance problems and autonomic symptoms, even though the bone itself isn’t actually “out of place.”

Our Story

Most traditional chiropractors focus on increasing your range of motion, reducing muscular spasm, and decreasing pain levels. Most do a great job at meeting these goals. Unlike most traditional doctors, we focus on Upper Cervical correction, which can and will affect the entire body Dr. Berner conducts a thorough examination utilizing the latest technology, and addresses issues using very light force adjustments. Orthospinology Evaluation This approach uses an extremely precise 3 dimensional x-ray analysis to correct small misalignments of the first cervical vertebra, also known as the atlas. These misalignments, also known as subluxations, can cause neurological interferences to the brainstem and spinal cord.
