TODAY is World Mental Health Day! Friday, October 10th!
We have taken each day this week to look at some mental wellness tips that can help in everyday life! These are things II work with my clients on all the time and things we can all do every day to enhance and empower our mental and emotional well-being!

As we wrap up the week today on World Mental Health Day, here's our focus: Affirmations - Tips to elevate our self-value!
How well we do or don't value ourselves shows up in everything we do or don't do! Our self-confidence, our self-worth, and even our self-motivation are all reliant on the value we place on ourselves! And, our sense of self-value all comes from our mindset, what we tell ourselves and believe about ourselves as a resulf of these messages!
The bottom line is we all deserve to have a strong and good self-value! Each of us has value and each of us is the only one who can add value into the lives of others and into the world in our own uniquely special way! If we struggle to believe this, we can work to recondition the brain and mindset with affirmations!
The key to affirmations is to begin with "I am" so that our identity becomes what we are saying to ourselves! We also want the affirmations to be based on what we KNOW to be true about ourselves so there is no disputing them!
For example, If we say "I am strong," or "I am amazing," most of us don't always believe these thoughts and they are easily disputable! But, if we say something like, "I am a loyal friend," or "I am able to support myself financially," these are indisputable statements that, when realized, have many strengths and positive qualities in and of themselves that help to reinforce our self-value!
Take some time today to talk to yourself with affirmations! ❤️
