Yoga can be described as meditation in motion or mindful movement or movement with meaning. Yoga is not just another form of exercise, it is a work in not a work out.
Quote from Dalai Lama- “If every 8 year old on the planet was taught how to meditate, we’d eliminate violence within a generation.”
In each of us adults there is an 8 year old just waiting to learn how to find calm and quiet the mind just a bit.
Join us this last week of April to begin or continue the journey on the mat. Classes are geared for all levels, only requirement is to leave expectations at home and bring self compassion to meet yourself just as you are.

Read this again. Know you make a difference. Know you affect the atmosphere around you by what you create inside. What is in the one is in the whole. You being more aware and awake with compassion and respect to yourSelf is what you will be paying forward to those placed in your path.
There are many ways to raise your consciousness (mindful living).
Spend time in nature without your phone. Just you and your breath.
Journal.
Yoga.
Meditation.
Go for walk or run.
Bike.
Take a nap.
Active Listening.
Gratitude list..daily.

You and I are a part of life’s flow when we embody the present moment. Life is flowing, you and I are either flowing with it..or we are swimming upstream against our own conditioning.
Yoga breaks down those conditioning(unconscious patterns & beliefs once used as survival mechanisms that no longer serve us).
Mindful movement tethered with conscious breathing aligns so the mind and body can meet.
Classes are gentle and the yogis are delightful.

Unplug from your do list and feed your soul some conscious movement and delightful pauses both designed to guide you back home to your own body and breath. You and I are a part of the flow of life when we inhabit the precious present moment. Our minds cannot make the journey into healing.

Have any tension in your body? Yoga will help activate & integrate immobility , old emotions, beliefs, tucked into your muscles, bones, organs, tissues & cells.
Feel restless or lethargic? Yoga dissipates a rushing mind, calms a racing heart, grounds the body and restores strength & mobility.
