Description
Marietta Memorial Hospital Corp. was formed in 1921 by a group of local citizens who saw a need for a large, centralized health care center in the community. Today, the hospital and its affiliates offer a lifetime of care. At Memorial Health System, some amazing things happen each and every day. On Friday, November 7th, Memorial Health Foundation’s Teddy Bear Initiative received an incredibly generous donation from the family of Grayson Shreve— over 1,000 stuffed animals to distribute to our patients!

Over the past three years, Grayson’s memory has been carried on by his loved ones through stuffed animal donations to the initiative on his birthday. Since 2023, they have collected animals from all 50 states and 10 different countries—totaling over 4,114 stuffed animals for patients needing extra comfort during their time with the health system.

Thank you all so much for choosing to honor Grayson’s memory and celebrate his birthday by bringing joy to others!

Congratulations to our November Volunteer of the Month, Roseanne Gray! 💙

“Roseanne is consistently professional, reliable, and eager to help. She takes initiative in staying informed about provider locations, departmental changes, and other updates that help her assist patients effectively.

Roseanne is always friendly and welcoming, going out of her way to ensure patients feel comfortable—whether she’s walking them to their destination, helping them find a wheelchair, or providing transportation as needed.

In addition to her regular duties, Roseanne generously volunteers her time for special hospital events throughout the year. Her positive attitude and team spirit make her a pleasure to work with.

We are grateful for Roseanne’s ongoing commitment and the kindness she brings to every interaction.”
