Grief doesn’t hit you when you expect it. It’s when you think you’re fine, when you haven’t really thought about it for a while, and when you’ve been (or kept yourself) too busy. Grief taps you on the shoulder and says “Remember, I’m still here.” 👋

When it does that, say to it “thank you for reminding me to live.” Then do that. Little by little, work on living a life that the one you lost would be proud of. 👏

I’ll be trying to manage my own grief this holiday season, but I would still be happy to support you through yours. 🙂
