The Patels continued their Fall Break college trek in Chicago, stopping by Northwestern University in nearby Evanston, Illinois for a campus tour and mini Atlanta reunion with fellow musicians Eli Zelman and Sunny Kim, both students at the Bienen School of Music in conducting and in violin performance, respectively.

While windy—as they say about the Chicago area!—it was another gorgeous fall day, with impressive, clear views of downtown Chi-Town, and Lake Michigan within spitting distance of campus!

Greetings from the University of Rochester during its annual Meliora Weekend!

Dr. Patel ‘11M (MD) returned to Rochester, New York with his family as part of a whirlwind college tour roadtrip during the kids’ Fall Break.

They kicked off the trip attending standup comedian Trevor Noah’s performance at the Eastman Theatre before touring the River Campus on a perfect Sunday with the help of impromptu tour guide, Sparsh Kumar ‘24 ‘29M (MD), a past intern at Patel Plastic Surgery through U of R’s Meliora Collective.

Rochester’s motto means “Ever Better”, but so far this weekend is tough to beat! 😎

The Princeton Club of Georgia (PCGA) was mighty proud to send-off incoming Princeton matriculants hailing from Georgia! 🧡🖤

Dr. Patel ‘00 was honored to congratulate this exceedingly bright and talented group of young men and women as a representative of the PCGA Board and in his final year as a Chair of the Alumni Schools Committee (ASC) for Greater Atlanta. In doing so, he was happy to share some perspectives on the famed 25th Reunions jacket he just acquired at Princeton in May 🐯.

Biggest thanks go to party hosts, Matt Flournoy, Esq. ‘76 and his equally enthusiastic wife, Joanne Flournoy S’76, for hosting everyone in their lovely Marietta, Georgia home and nicely putting together this summary YouTube video of the event. 🙏🏽 🤗

Patel Plastic Surgery welcomes its 2nd Summer 2025 intern, Katha Patel from Snellville, Georgia, a current Princeton premed student and proud graduate of the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology.

Katha started her week helping conduct a preoperative evaluation for a breast cancer patient awaiting reconstruction. She is also helping the team out with monthly autoclave maintenance and will be learning radiology and facial trauma management principles as Dr. Patel takes hospital call.

Much thanks for these amazing summer gifts from a very happy and successfully well-healed breast reconstruction patient, after helping getting her through a 2-3 year effort through chemo! 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽

It’s been an absolute privilege getting to know her and her husband, and we look forward to annual reunions as we continue to surveillance her breast implants. ❤️‍🩹 🎀

Patel Plastic Surgery welcomes back Aidan Patel. Dr. Patel’s son and a now rising junior at Walton High School.

After a slew of finals and AP Exams, followed by Dr. Patel’s 25th Princeton Reunion and college touring in Pennsylvania, the Patels are back at work, with Aidan helping out in clinic and at the hospital in between stretches of intense SAT prep.

Today, the Patels took care of a kind patient with a stubborn facial skin cancer warranting a safe excision and cosmetic closure by a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon. Aidan helped Dr. Patel setup all the instruments, sutures, and medications the day prior, assisted Dr. Patel in the procedure, and helped process the instruments in the office sterilizer thereafter. Not bad for a day’s work as a high schooler!

Congratulations to the Patels’ son Aidan for his 16th birthday 🎂 🎉 🎁 and perfect score on his driver’s test. 📝 💯 ✅ 👏🏽

Dr. Patel and Erica decided to surprise their kiddo by taking him to the Atlanta McLaren dealer just before closing, followed by a gut busting Persian feast at Rumi’s Kitchen 🤤, concluded by the inevitable food coma at the movie theater. 😵 🎥

So…which super car should his parents get for him?? 🏎️ 😜
