A message from St. Vincent DePaul!

We are thrilled to share that our St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry has been selected for a televised food drive with Fox 11 WLUK on Friday, November 14th from 6:00 AM–5:00 PM! Throughout the day, Fox 11 will feature live coverage from our pantry, helping us raise awareness and collect food for families in need this holiday season.
To make this large community event run smoothly, we are asking for volunteers to sign up for two-hour shifts (you may sign up for as many shifts as you’d like). We need 20 volunteers per time slot.

(Please fill in only your name and phone/email in the gray areas. All other areas are for admin use.)
Volunteer Roles Needed (per time slot):
• 8 Food Collectors: Take donations from vehicle trunks and bring into pantry (must be able to lift 50 lbs)
• 6 Sorters: Sort donated food into categories inside the pantry
• 2 Traffic Directors: Direct cars in and out of the donation area
• 4 Second-Location Volunteers: Unload vehicles and load donations into the SVdP box truck (must be able to lift 50 lbs)
Who Can Volunteer?
✅ Individuals
✅ Families & community members
✅ Company teams (great visibility!)
✅ Local celebrities (highly encouraged — we’ll be on TV all day!)
This event offers free positive publicity for company volunteer groups, as Fox 11 will be with us throughout the morning on Good Day Wisconsin and again in the evening newscast.
Holiday Food Items We Are Collecting:
• Cranberry sauce
• Sweet potatoes
• Gravy
• Stuffing
• Pumpkin pie filling
• Evaporated milk
• Cream of mushroom soup
• Green beans
• Crispy dried onions
• Instant potatoes
• Jell-O
• Fresh produce is welcomed. Monetary gifts will be used to purchase hams and turkeys.
Thank you for being generous with your time and for helping us make sure no family in our community goes without a holiday meal. We can’t wait to serve alongside you!

Communities that Care invites you to join them for an important and informative community event on Wednesday, November 19th at 6:00 p.m. at the Bayshore Arts Theater Center (formerly Theater on the Bay).
They’ll be showing the “Johnny’s Ambassadors” documentary, Cannabis-Induced Psychosis: A Silent Epidemic, which shines a light on the growing crisis of high-potency THC and its impact on youth mental health. Told through the voices of young people who have experienced psychosis and the parents who supported them, this powerful film offers an honest look at how ma*****na use at a young age can fracture lives and upend futures.
Following the 45-minute screening, a panel of local law enforcement and agency representatives will discuss ma*****na-related issues in Marinette and Menominee Counties and share local prevention and education efforts. A brief Q&A session will conclude the evening.
Event Details:
📅 Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025
🕕 Time: 6:00 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
📍 Location: Bayshore Arts Theater Center, formerly Theater on the Bay
🍎 Extras: Light refreshments and small door prize giveaways
