Communities that Care invites you to join them for an important and informative community event on Wednesday, November 19th at 6:00 p.m. at the Bayshore Arts Theater Center (formerly Theater on the Bay).
They’ll be showing the “Johnny’s Ambassadors” documentary, Cannabis-Induced Psychosis: A Silent Epidemic, which shines a light on the growing crisis of high-potency THC and its impact on youth mental health. Told through the voices of young people who have experienced psychosis and the parents who supported them, this powerful film offers an honest look at how ma*****na use at a young age can fracture lives and upend futures.
Following the 45-minute screening, a panel of local law enforcement and agency representatives will discuss ma*****na-related issues in Marinette and Menominee Counties and share local prevention and education efforts. A brief Q&A session will conclude the evening.
