Being a small business owner is not for the faint of heart. I started this journey thinking it would be a solo path, only to discover incredible friendships with other small business owners along the way. This path tested my marriage, but my husband stood beside me through every challenge, always there to help extinguish the fires that come with entrepreneurship.
Every mistake I made became a lesson. They shaped me into a walking Rolodex of experience, resourcefulness, and growth, especially in learning about corporate life and financial wellness. People often ask how I do it. Truth is, I didn’t have a plan; I learned as I went and owned every misstep.
Never let others destroy your dream of being a small business owner. If you fail, at least you tried, but most importantly, don’t give up. Reset as many times as you need. Be brave, because someone is always watching, either to cheer you on or to doubt you. Stand firm in your purpose. Your version of success is what truly matters. Block out the noise, roll up your sleeves, and chase your dreams. The right people will always see your light and be inspired by your courage.
