You guys, we did the thing! My partner and I .dpt committed to crushing our first HYROX race together, aiming for sub 1:30, and we absolutely smashed it in 1:12! 🎉
We had each other’s backs every step of the way, pushing through the hard stuff, communicating perfectly, and honestly, we had a blast. Huge shout-out to for hosting such an amazing event at the iconic Navy Pier in Chicago—the venue was epic!

This whole experience was a massive win. I proved to myself what this body is capable of (seriously, our minds are the boss, for better or worse!), and the best part? My son got to watch me compete. Showing him the power of perseverance, hard work and determination, and that even days shy of my 37th birthday, age is just a number and we can always do hard things.

Already looking forward to the next one—I’m hooked! If you need a serious challenge that is actually fun, seriously look into a HYROX event!
