My son Or’el (The Light of God). I’m sharing this because hours before he was born, something happened that I will never forget.

It was during the early days of my spiritual awakening. I was standing in the shower when suddenly time felt like it stopped. Everything became quiet and still. It felt like I had been there for hours, yet at the same time I wasn’t really there anymore.

And then I saw him.
Not just as a newborn, but growing into a little boy about five years old. I could feel his presence and his energy very clearly. It didn’t feel like imagination. It felt like his soul had come to introduce itself before entering this world.

In that moment something inside me understood. I knew he was coming here to bring light into this world. That is why the name Or’el came so clearly to me. It wasn’t something I thought about. It was something I simply knew.

When he was finally born, everything matched exactly what I had seen. His face, his voice, his presence. It was the same child I had already met.
That moment changed everything for me. From that day forward, I never looked at life the same way again. I embraced the journey that was placed in front of me, with all its challenges, blessings, and everything in between.

Happy anniversary to my wife, my lover, and my partner. You do so much for me. You care for me the way an angel of healing would. Love isn’t just words, it’s actions. And the way you have stood by me proves that. You watched me go from an athlete with an active, hardworking life to someone living with a disability, and not once did you complain.

There hasn’t been a single night when I was in pain that you didn’t try to help somehow. Even when there was nothing you could do, you still tried. You always put me before yourself, even though you never had to.

That’s real love. Not just the honeymoon stage or the excitement people talk about. Real love shows itself when life gets hard, when someone needs help, and when someone chooses to stay and care in those moments.

Four years have passed so quickly. Through everything, you helped open my eyes and played a big part in the person I’ve become today, an awakened soul.

I love you.
