We’re still currently closed this week due to the smoke damage from the fire. All appointments scheduled this week will be rescheduled, and we will reach out once we’re able to reopen.

Buckeye Optometry would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Marion Township Fire Department and the assisting crews for their incredible Monday Morning.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬

While we are relieved the fire was extinguished quickly, our location—along with our neighbors at Penn Station and El Campesino's—did sustain extensive smoke damage.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀: We are currently assessing the situation and beginning the cleanup process.

𝐑𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: We know you’re anxious to get back in for your appointments and eyewear needs. We hope to have more information regarding our official reopening date later today.

Marion Township was alerted at 0429 hours this morning for a smell of something burning and an alarm at El Campesino's.
313 arrived on scene and went to alarm address and made entry to find smoke but no fire.
Went next door and forced entry and was met with heavy smoke and heat.
313 established command and advanced line with TIC to find heavy fire in storage area and above the ceiling.
Fire was extinguished within 3 minutes of arrival and crews started checking for extension.
Fire is being investigated by Marion Township with the assistance of the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office.
With the quick aggressive interior attack on the fire, the damage was reduced.

Please call ahead as this complex received extensive smoke damage throughout and may alter the other businesses operations.
Those involved are Buckeye Optical, Penn Station, and El Campesino's.

Due to a fire in another part of the building, we are unable to see patients and will be closed today and tomorrow 3/31.
