Our Summit Pointe tenants rolled up their sleeves and dipped, sprinkled and decorated their way through a delicious truffle making experience…they could give any Chocolatier a run for their money-or a good laugh! Each truffle created came out very different giving a Forest Gump vibe-“Life is like a box of chocolates- you never know what you’re gonna get”

In 2026 we celebrate 20 years of serving seniors, we’re marking this milestone with a series of thoughtful enhancements throughout Summit Pointe. These additions are our way of saying Thank-you-a celebration of the tenants who make this community so special!

This month we introduced our Grab-and-Go food option…it’s an easy and healthy way for our tenants to grab a quick bite for those busy moments.
When their day gets a little hectic with appointments, outings or maybe they’d rather sleep in during breakfast...our Grab-and-Go station offers a selection of fresh, ready to enjoy meals and snacks. Compliments to our culinary team for their in putting together this station!

Rosemaling, the traditional Norwegian folk art known for its flowing lines, floral patterns and elegant brushwork...Summit Pointe tenants learned about the history behind this stunning style-how it began in rural Norway, how each region developed its signature look and how the art form ha been lovingly passed down through generations. It's beautiful when learning and hands-on creativity come together.

Joy walked right through our doors-on four legs. Thank you Prairie Patch Farms for bringing their gentle llamas to Summit Pointe. Our tenants loved every moment of petting, cuddling and connecting with these beautiful animals! Honestly, 10/10. Would definitely pet again!

Summit Pointe tenants making connections, and this month one of our wonderful tenants opened their door to neighbors and hosted an open house. Each month a tenant hosts an event in their apartment, neighbors, friends and new acquaintances stop by, say hello and enjoy a friendly visit together. How special it is to be part of a community where everyone feels welcome, supported and right at home!

Wake up & Make It was buzzing this Friday morning! Our tenants grabbed their coffee, gathered around the tables, and jumped right into their projects — some working on their own creations, loop yarn, cross stitch, crocheting-others teaming up on a group craft we provided. Today's kitchen smelled like pure comfort as our chef guided tenants through the art of pasta-making-he had everyone rolling, stuffing and laughing as we crafted pasta from scratch. Those homemade raviolis didn't just look good...they disappeared fast. Nothing beats good food made with great company.

This month Summit Pointe tenants have been experiencing culture mixed with art...This week, we explored a beautiful tradition from Japan: kintsugi-the art of repairing broken pottery with gold to highlight the cracks rather than hide them. Tenants learned how this centuries-old practice turns something flawed into something even more meaningful. Every line, every imperfection becomes part of the story...and part of the beauty.
