The COVID19 vaccination age has been lowered to age 70 or greater!

You can register by telephone by calling 2 1 1 or online at ourshot.in.gov

Marion General Hospital is the local administration site and they have a very smooth, efficient process. Remember to take your photo ID when you go (plus your Medicare card If you didn’t register it online). Plan on 30-40 minutes as you will be observed for 15 minutes after your injection. You will even be scheduled for your second dose before you leave MGH.

Don’t delay, get protected ASAP!

We know everyone is tired of the current status of social distancing. We also hope the only tests you have to undergo are for your patience! 😊

No 55 Speeders until Spring 2021, or when it is safe to gather again. Until then, get your flu shot, get your pneumonia vaccine, get your shingles vaccine (or your second dose if due), and keep washing those hands. 🧼

We are sorry to say this . . . . Until future notice, we will NOT be holding 55 Speeders.
Keeping everyone safe is important to us and there are just too many uncertainties in the current COVID19 situation. We have no insight into when we can safely gather again. When we make a decision, you will see it here on the page, plus you will once again get called by the Calling Committee.

Stay safe, wear your mask, and wash those hands!

No 55 Speeders for June. (July has been a month we don’t usually meet.)

We trust by August 10, 2020, our lives will be a lot more settled and gatherings will be safer than our current situation. Until then, stay safe, take good care of yourselves, and enjoy each moment

In light of the recommendations to avoid group gatherings, we have decided to put a temporary hold on 55 Speeders. We will NOT meet in April, and will decide about May later, as the COVID19 situation becomes more clear and governmental guidelines are updated.

The health and well being of our community is the focus of both Premier Home Health Care and Suite Living, and we will continue to do everything we can to limit potential spread of the virus, following the guidelines of CDC, CMS, and WHO.

Please remember to wash your hands frequently . . . That simple action is the frontline of defense. Avoid touching your face, and maintain a six feet distance from others. Stay safe, stay away from crowds, and hopefully we will see you soon.

55 Speeders will meet Monday, February 10, with doors opening at 11 a.m. Lunch will be meatloaf, augratin potatoes, garden salad, and brownies. Enetertainment is Dan Leap with Amber Philpot. ❤️ Theme is, of course, Valentines Day, so wear red and/or hearts. You can even wear your heart on your sleeve if you want. 😊
