It’s RSV season! RSV is a virus that can cause serious lung infections and hospitalizations, especially in babies. Did you know there’s an antibody available to prevent serious RSV infection?
Between November and March, if your baby is younger than 8 months old, they may be eligible to receive this antibody. Some babies are eligible during their 2nd winter as well. The RSV antibody has been shown to lower the rates of severe RSV infection and the need for hospitalization from this virus. Talk to your pediatrician today!
