Nancy and her kitten, B***y, recently made the move from Las Vegas to Trailside Gardens! She chose our community because we're pet-friendly and closer to family. She had to buy her first winter coat in a long time, but is enjoying being part of the Trailside family!

Meet Jessica, our new Executive Director!

Jessica brings a deep connection to our community, having previously worked at The Villages of Marion from 2008 - 2024. Since Trailside Gardens was formerly The Villages at Marion, she returns with a strong familiarity with the building and the residents.

Returning under new ownership and management, Jessica is stepping into a beautifully remodeled Trailside Gardens - bringing together her past experience with a refreshed vision for the future. With many familiar faces among our tenants and staff, her leadership comes at an exciting time as we move into this next chapter.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. They love being outdoors, spending time with family, or enjoying anything water-related. Family is a huge part of her life.

Please join us in giving Jessica a very warm welcome!

Meet Fern, one of our amazing tenants!

She’s been part of our community for five and a half years, and her favorite thing about living here is all the other tenants – it feels like one big family.

In her free time, Fern enjoys reading and cooking, and she’s always finding meaningful ways to give back. Right now, she’s making a sleeping mat out of plastic bags for the unhoused.
