🌟Employee Spotlight - NFS Week 🥳
Kayte Long, from Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) has been with the district for 16 years. Originally from Kansas, Kayte grew up in the Bay Area, before setting down roots in Mariposa. To her family’s surprise, Kayte having a career in the kitchen is where she feels most comfortable. The atmosphere of everyone in the kitchen is something that Kayte reflects on as being a big reason she enjoys it so much. She especially enjoys spending time with our Ewing Wing residents when delivering their meals.

Having learned almost all of her cooking skills here at JCF, she knows this is a home away from home. In her personal time, Kayte spends time sifting up breads and muffins, but with her JCF chef hat, she is passionate about making sauces.

You can most likely find Kayte, jamming out to some 90’s Country music while she raises her three teenagers, teaching them life skills and common sense, in and out of the kitchen.
