Go Warriors!!!

’Twas the night before State,
And all through the hotel,
Their minds on the mission,
Victory compelled,

The Warriors were gathered,
Three years in a row —
And Coach Brandon Powell
Had them ready to go.

This year feels different,
Something fierce in their stride,
They’ve battled and bonded,
With that Warrior pride.

Tucked in their rooms,
Dreams danced in their heads —
Not sugarplums — but touchdowns!
And victories instead.

The Cross County Thunderbirds
Are bold, fast, and strong,
But these Warriors have waited,
They’ve prepared for this long.

The jerseys are ready,
The helmets lined tight,
Tomorrow’s the moment
They’ll rise up and fight.

So rest now, young Warriors,
Your story’s not done —
There’s a gold-shining chapter
Still waiting to be won.

And when kickoff arrives,
Let the whole state see…
