Severe weather is moving into our area, and we want our community to know one thing clearly: Riverside Ambulance is ready.

Our crews are watching the weather closely, our trucks are fueled, and our teams are standing by to respond if anyone needs help. Storms may roll in, but the people who serve this community are already on the road and ready to go.

If the weather turns bad tonight, please take a few simple precautions:
• Stay weather aware
• Keep your phone charged
• Have a safe place ready if warnings are issued

And remember, if an emergency happens, we are only a call away.

Our mission does not change when the sky turns dark.
We are here for you before the storm, during the storm, and after it passes.

Stay safe tonight ❤️ 🚑

Not every call ends with a ride in the ambulance.

Our crew recently responded to a motor vehicle accident. Thankfully the person involved was not seriously injured and did not want to be transported to the hospital. But sometimes taking care of someone goes beyond medical treatment.
After making sure everything was okay, our crew stuck around to help change the tire so she could safely get back on the road. It might seem like a small thing, but to someone having a rough day, a little help can mean a lot.
At Riverside Ambulance, we believe EMS is about more than emergencies. It is about neighbors helping neighbors and serving the community however we can.
We are proud of the men and women who represent the Riverside community spirit every day.

🚑 Help Us Build Something Great for Our Community

At Riverside Ambulance, we believe an ambulance service should be more than just responding to emergencies. We want to be something the community is proud of and involved with.

Lately we have been brainstorming ways to do more for Northeast Arkansas, and we have already had some great ideas from folks in the community.

So far we have been asked about things like:

• Free CPR classes for the public
• A summer first aid camp for kids
• An emergency vehicle car show for Northeast Arkansas

We love these ideas, and we want to hear more.

💭 What would YOU like to see from your local ambulance service?

Community events
Educational programs
Public safety classes
Something fun for families

No idea is too big or too small. If it helps make our community safer, stronger, or more connected, we want to hear it.

Drop your ideas in the comments. We are listening. 👇

Today we celebrate Employee Appreciation Day, and at Riverside Ambulance we want to recognize the incredible people who make this service what it is.

Our EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and support staff go far beyond the call of duty every single day. They answer calls at all hours of the night, in every kind of weather, and in some of the most difficult moments families can experience. They do it not for recognition, but because they genuinely care about the people they serve.

What makes Riverside special is that our team members are not just responders. They are your neighbors, your friends, and fellow members of this community. They live here, raise their families here, and take great pride in protecting the citizens of Marked Tree, Tyronza, and the surrounding area.

We are incredibly proud of this team and grateful for the dedication, compassion, and professionalism they bring to their work every day.

To our Riverside family, thank you for everything you do for this community. We appreciate you today and every day.

and our ladies in the Office refuse to take pictures for anything 😂😂

Today some of our Riverside Ambulance leadership team was in Jonesboro at the Arkansas Rural Health Transformation event, and the future of rural EMS has never looked more promising.
The message was clear. EMS is no longer just about getting patients from point A to point B. We are becoming a critical part of how rural healthcare is delivered.
From new workforce pipeline programs that will help train the next generation of EMTs and paramedics, to telehealth partnerships that allow patients to receive the right care at the right time, the opportunities ahead will strengthen our ability to serve this community in ways we have never been able to before.
Riverside Ambulance is committed to being at the table, building partnerships, and leading the conversation on what modern rural EMS should look like. Our goal is simple. Improve access. Support our hospitals. Take care of our patients. And build a sustainable future for emergency services in Northeast Arkansas.
We are excited about what is coming and proud to represent this community as we help shape the next chapter of rural healthcare.
The future of EMS is not just response. It is prevention, coordination, and care that starts long before a patient ever calls 911.

And Riverside is ready.

Spring and summer are right around the corner, and that means our communities will be gathering for festivals, ball games, outdoor services, school events, and more. Riverside Ambulance is proud to support local events by providing on site EMS coverage to help keep everyone safe.

If you are planning an event in our service area and would like to have EMS personnel staged and ready, we are here to help. Having a dedicated crew on site allows for faster response times, immediate care when needed, and added peace of mind for organizers and attendees.

To schedule EMS coverage or to learn more about how we can support your event, you can call our office and ask for Andrew, or contact our Public Relations Director Andrew Perry directly at 870 206 5723.

We are always proud to stand by our communities, not just when emergencies happen, but before they do.

One thing our crews take seriously is training. We take every chance we can to make sure our crew members are as knowledgeable and educated as they can be. Today our crew members participated in disaster readiness training hosted by Poinsett county! We love to see everyone preparing and learning the best ways to support and help each other during disasters.

Meet the Zoll X Series

When our crews walk into your home, this is one of the most powerful tools we bring with us.
The Zoll X Series is not just a monitor. It is a mobile critical care unit that lets us see what your heart, lungs, and circulation are doing in real time. It gives us hospital level information before we ever leave your driveway.

Heres just a snapshot of what it does so you guys know what to expect.

-It reads your heart rhythm instantly. Not just a basic pulse, but a full cardiac picture. We can identify dangerous rhythms within seconds and start treatment immediately.
-It delivers lifesaving shocks. If a heart goes into a lethal rhythm, this device becomes a defibrillator. It can possibly restore a heartbeat on scene before transport even begins.
-It monitors oxygen and breathing. We can see how well your lungs are working and how much oxygen (or anything binding to your hemoglobin) is actually reaching your bloodstream.
-It tracks blood pressures. Not just one reading, but trends. That helps us recognize shock, internal bleeding, or a worsening condition early.
-It measures carbon dioxide. This tells us how well someone is breathing and helps confirm advanced airway placement. That is critical during cardiac arrest and respiratory failure.
-It guides high performance CPR. The Zoll literally analyzes CPR to increase the chance of survival. All of this happens in the first few minutes of care. Long before the emergency room. In rural EMS, time and distance matter. We do not have the luxury of being two minutes from a hospital. This monitor brings the hospital to you.
Devices like the Zoll X Series represent a significant investment in the level of care we bring to every call. A single unit costs approximately $40,000.00, before ongoing expenses such as maintenance, software, disposables, and replacement supplies. Equipment like this is carried on the ambulance every hour of every day so it is ready the moment you need it. It is one example of how EMS provides hospital level capability long before a patient ever reaches the emergency department, and why readiness has real and ongoing costs.

So when you see our crews carrying this device into a scene, understand what it represents. Advanced assessment. Early intervention. Better outcomes. It is one more way Riverside Ambulance delivers critical care when it matters most.

Today our crews at Riverside Ambulance are proud to be out alongside Marked Tree Fire Department supporting Make-A-Wish.

This is what the fire service and EMS are supposed to look like. Not just responding when someone calls 911, but standing in the street together for the kids and families in our community who are facing the hardest moments of their lives.
Every donation today goes toward giving a child a moment of hope, and that matters more than any siren we will run.

If you see our trucks out, stop by, say hello, and drop something in the boot! It all adds up.

Marked Tree takes care of its own and we are honored to be part of that.
