We experienced a festive Mardi Gras gathering. Various snacks, including a King cake and Voodoo juice, were provided. The ladies located masks to wear, with a few having created their own the day before. Our afternoon was enhanced by a trivia competition and jazz music. Two ladies were lucky winners of lap robes as door prizes, and I was the fortunate one to discover the baby Jesus. This means I will be hosting next year's party! 🙂😊

Next time you walk through the halls of MRH, take a moment to appreciate this labor of love. It’s a moment of history frozen in time. Last May, the theme for National Nursing Home Week was 'Tapestry of Time.' It was decided to create a quilt featuring the names of residents, staff, and board members. Residents' names are accompanied by their admission dates, while staff and board members' names include their start dates and departments.

We celebrated birthday twins! Sue and Elani, despite a few years between them, enjoyed their special day.

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating National Pizza Day yesterday by making their own pizzas and then relishing their finished products.

🎉This past week we got to shed some light on our amazing Life Enrichment team. Our residents got to ask some questions to the team and we all got to hear what they love most about working here at MRH! From a special meal to having them participate in playing BINGO with the residents we only HOPE they all understand what they bring every day to this facility! 🤩
