It’s time to decorate our facility for Christmas! We spent the morning on Wednesday painting our snowflakes, to hang from the ceiling to help turn our residents home into a winter wonderland.

We had another wonderful morning with the Markesan High School students playing UNO! Thank you to Mrs. Hankes class for interacting with our residents.

Our morning was well-spent crafting the pilgrim couple. Now we're eager for Thanksgiving dinner!🦃 We're grateful for Carol's contributions as a crafting volunteer on this project.

Driven by curiosity, we visited the new store in Ripon. Afterwards, we had lunch at KFC.

The smart board has greatly enhanced our activity sessions. Today, we started with a video about Smokey Mountain National Park, which was followed by a mentally stimulating word challenge. Next, we enjoyed a bingo session. While cleaning up, we visited Denali National Park virtually. The residents are amazed by the ease of switching between different activities.

Gobble gobble! We are eagerly anticipating the decision on whether our turkeys will receive a pardon. 🦃🦃🦃 It was a most enjoyable afternoon of painting we had.

Linda Swanke came this morning to bake some Applesauce Muffins and cook some Chili! The residents enjoyed every moment and every single bite 😁

We spent an afternoon crafting Kleenex box covers last week, thanks to the help of our volunteer Linda.

Our traditional Veterans Day program commenced with a 21 gun salute and taps, followed by the presentation of roses to our esteemed veterans and a cake-sharing ceremony. The local veterans then shared stories of their service, recounting when and where they served.

Thank you Roy Creek Ramblers 4 H Club for the Peach Tree🍑 to add to our tiny orchard. Hopefully next summer our residents can be enjoying some beautiful, juicy peaches🍑🍑

What a wonderful morning! We had students from Markesan High School play Hungry Hippo and balloon volleyball this morning with some of our residents !
