At Markle, a couple of pranksters, Darla and Karagan, decided to play some jokes on the staff! They went around the facility, encouraging unsuspecting staff members to examine the food. The unsuspecting victims lifted the plate covers, only to be greeted by a surprise of fake crickets and spiders! DON Brittney, Kara the MDS Coordinator, and Tia the Business Office Manager were all startled and scared by the prank, experiencing quite a fright!

Our monthly restaurant outing took us to IHOP, a clear favorite among the residents! We're already planning our return visit. The service we received was truly exceptional. The menu offered a wide variety, from classic fish and chips to a hearty breakfast featuring pancakes, omelets, and delicious milkshakes. The entire experience was filled with laughter and enjoyable moments for everyone involved. It was a wonderful trip!

Markle initiated "Thirsty Thursdays" throughout October! This past Thursday, the spotlight was on floats! Attendees enjoyed a variety of refreshing options, including Root Beer Floats, Cream Soda Floats, and Sunkiss Floats. Both the staff and the residents thoroughly enjoyed the treat, transforming the day into a much-anticipated event.
