If you have requested a copy of your record please rest assured that you will get it. We have been so busy that we've had to stop printing and emailing them. We are making two lists, one for email records and one for printed copies. At this point no more records will be available until the week of January 4th. We can not provide them immediately if you walk in. They are all on computer and must be reviewed before either printing or emailing. Please make a request and give us time to make them available. We will take requests until the end of January.

You can request printed records at 253-4582. Once they are printed we will call you to pick them up. You can request an e-mail copy at janets@sfsvs.com. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for allowing us to serve you these past 38 years.

Merry Christmas!! I want to remind all of you that we are retiring December 29. We are booked solid and have a long wait list so we are not taking any more appointments unless it is an emergency. Records can be requested through January 30 by telephone at (318) 253-4582. Leave a message if no one is available to answer. You can also send a request to janets@sfsvs.com. I prefer to email records. If you want it printed you will be required to pick them up when I have notified you that they are ready. Due to all the requests most of them will not be fulfilled until January. If you are a contact lens patient with a current prescription you can call for a supply of lenses to give you time to find another doctor. We will cut off those requests after January 15.

Well, things are going rather smoothly under the circumstances since reopening.

Remember, we as well as other medical offices, are under health department mandate for both staff and patients to wear masks. Please don’t enter the office without your mask. If you arrive and have forgotten your mask there are instructions on the door how to proceed. This is for your safety as well as ours.

We are reopening! Of course, due to COVID-19 we will be seeing a reduced number of patients since we have to limit the number of patients in the office at any given time and there is extra disinfecting to be performed between patients. Since we are limiting the number of patients in the office, we recommend if you need to pick up glasses or contact lenses, or need a repair or adjustment on your glasses that you call first. We are open normal business hours: 7:45 am to noon and 11:45 to 4:30 Monday - Thursday and 7:45 - noon on Friday. The State Board of Health is mandating that both doctors, staff and patients wear masks. Please bring yours when you come to the office. We want to let everyone know that we are open for regular business hours this week, though we may have to limit our hours beginning next week. Like all of you, we are concerned about COVID-19. We are sanitizing all surfaces multiple times per day. We have hand sanitizer available at the check in counter and checkout counter and other places in between. We are screening employees daily and we are screening patients before seeing them. Thank you for your understanding as we all go through this difficult time.

Our electricity is off at the office which means our phones are out as well. It has already been more than an hour and they tell us it will be another hour, maybe two. Please share so we can get the word out. The traffic lights are out at Tunica and Acton, the Shell station and all businesses on the Tunica end of Acton. Thanks!!!
