This past summer, I traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico to study with community curanderos. 🇲🇽 We cooked medicinal meals, practiced limpias with eggs, sat in temazcales, and made herbal medicine by hand. Each ritual was a reminder to honor my body like the sacred vessel it is.

Rainy days remind me of the herbs I harvested this season — lemongrass, echinacea, purple basil, and chamomile — each carrying its own medicine. 🌧️🌿 These quiet moments help me remember their gifts: chamomile for rest, echinacea for strength, basil for the heart, and lemongrass for clarity.✨ Let the rain remind you of your own garden’s wisdom.

Grateful to www.munaywasi.org, where I sat among sacred plants, drumbeats, and songs. 🌿 Seeing young people carry on these traditions fills me with hope. Keeping native wisdom alive is the greatest act of healing we can offer the future.✨ Protect the roots that protect you.

This past summer, my family and I gathered flowers from to honor my aunt’s passing anniversary — turning them into a wreath of remembrance. 🌺 Honoring the dead with flowers has always been part of our family tradition — a way to celebrate life, love, and memory through the beauty of nature. Every bloom becomes an offering, every petal a prayer.✨ May we continue to remember our ancestors through the flowers that connect us. 💀

Every jog by the Hudson River reveals a hidden apothecary🌿 for immunity, for skin relief, and , a fiery orange vine I’d never seen before, traditionally used to treat burns from hot liquids. 🌿 Nature’s medicine grows wild and free, waiting for us to notice.✨ Look closer—healing is everywhere.

After seven years of homeschooling, nature remains our number one teacher🌲 Showing us how to grow, rest, and begin again. Every lesson comes from the earth if we’re willing to listen.✨ Let nature teach you how to heal.

My daughter interviewed me about Dropping Seeds while my son filmed the scene—proof that our kids really do absorb everything we do. 💚 Watching them engage with herbs and their own art fills me with so much gratitude. This work is about legacy, not just wellness.✨ Teach your children that healing starts at home.

In my interview by Jeanny Tsai I spoke about how Dropping Seeds began—from my love of herbs to my belief that medicine must be decolonized. Plants teach us to listen deeply, to reclaim what our ancestors knew. Healing isn’t new—it’s remembering.✨ Reconnect to your roots through the plants that call to you.

My friend, the incredible , was miking me up for an interview while my daughter filmed behind the scenes. 🎬 It’s moments like these that remind me—community is medicine too. None of this happens alone, and I’m so grateful for the love and support that allow me to keep creating and sharing this work.✨ Interview coming soon!
