The First Responder Deflection: A Warm Handoff to Services in the Community eCourse (1.5 hours) is now available online for first responders!
Deflection initiatives are being implemented nationwide to connect individuals with substance use disorders to treatment and services โ without arrest. This training introduces deflection as a collaborative, problem-solving approach involving law enforcement, EMS, fire, treatment providers, and community partners.
