Celebrating a Major Milestone for the Pocahontas County Diabetes Coalition & Support Group! ✨

Last night we had the most incredible gathering to celebrate something that has been three years in the making, our Diabetic Cookbook is officially finished! 💙

We were honored to host Assaf Glazer and his partner, Shlomit Arad, app developers who traveled all the way from Israel to join us. Using their innovative app, Vinst, they helped bring this cookbook to life, and we could not be more grateful for their dedication and partnership.

A huge thank-you to Terry Wagner and her husband, Mark, whose steady leadership, organization, and education have been invaluable to our support group. And of course, none of this would exist without Dr. Samantha Minc, who brought this vision to Pocahontas County and helped make every piece of this project possible. 💙

We also enjoyed an amazing catered meal from local chef Anne Walker, and spent the evening discussing upcoming events, new ways to support our diabetic community, and important topics such as diabetic foot care and overall wellness.

We are so proud of the work being done and excited for what’s ahead. Together, we’re building resources, support, and hope for those living with diabetes in Pocahontas County. 💙

There were many involved in this project, (too many to name) and we owe them an enormous amount of gratitude as well!
