At Marlow Martial Arts, we are proud to teach the rare and dynamic discipline of Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) to Oklahoma. As one of the few academies in the state offering this unique art, we are dedicated to preserving its rich cultural heritage while empowering students with effective, real-world skills. Our Programs
-Filipino Martial Arts (FMA): A comprehensive system that includes:
Empty-Hand Striking: Powerful and precise techniques for self-defense. Weapons Training: Mastery of single and double sticks, knives, and bolos (small swords). Locks and Breaks: Advanced joint manipulation and disarming techniques. Fluid and adaptable techniques for various real-world scenarios.

-Mixed Martial Arts (MMA): A unique curriculum centered around the principles of FMA, incorporating striking, grappling, and weapon-based techniques for a well-rounded martial arts experience. Our system emphasizes fluid, flowing movements and adaptable combat principles, making it effective in a variety of situations.

-Cardio Kickboxing: High-energy training that improves striking skills, endurance, and overall fitness while teaching practical self-defense. Additional Programs Available:
-Flying Stars Tumbling and Cheer
-Marlow Batting Club (24/7 cage rental/ seasonal private lessons)
-Wrestling Fundamentals (seasonal)
-Kickstart Kids -youth athlete prep class (seasonal)
-Yoga For Everyone- Power, Vinyasa, Yin & Pound

Excited for all of our staff and coaches to learn the neuroscience coaching method! Between tournaments and team trainings in leadership and neuroscience April will be a busy month!!!!

ā€œOne thing many adults misunderstand about kids is that how they learn is very different from how adults learn.

Many times when a child struggles with focus, confidence, or frustration, itā€™s not a behavior problem ā€” itā€™s a behavior signal.

Kidsā€™ brains are still learning how to:
- regulate emotions
- stay focused under pressure
- handle mistakes and challenges

Thatā€™s why the best youth programs donā€™t just focus on performance ā€” they focus on creating environments where kids can practice learning how to learn.

One thing that is becoming very clear is that the best mentors, coaches, and teachers are blending two areas of knowledge:

1. Child Development - Understanding how kids grow and change at each stage

2. Neuroscience - Understanding how the brain handles stress, emotion, and learning

When those two come together, they become one of the most powerful tools we have to help kids grow into strong, capable young people.
