Today we honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., whose vision of justice, dignity, and collective healing continues to guide us.
Dr. King reminded us that “of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” In recovery work, we witness daily how access to compassionate, equitable care can transform lives—one person, one family, one community at a time.
On this MLK Day, we recommit ourselves to the work of hope, courage, and service. To meeting people where they are. To creating spaces rooted in respect, inclusion, and belief in the possibility of change. And to walking alongside those who are bravely choosing recovery, even when the path is hard.
May we continue to build a future where healing is accessible, humanity is honored, and love leads the way.
