Yesterday, during my Soul Poetry practice, this message revealed itself.

Every single time I sit down with a page, the message that emerges meets me exactly where I am.

Every time.

I begin by opening to a random page and allowing certain words to reveal themselves until the message becomes clear.

This is the stage most people never see.

The moment when the message begins to emerge from an entire page of text.

Plunge in
Begin to edit
Revising
More revising

And then the line that stopped me in my tracks:

You’re creating
Your story.

For me, this message is a reminder that we always have the ability to look at our lives — our past, our patterns, the choices we’ve made — and decide to revise, rewrite, and redirect the path forward.

But that requires one important thing:

trusting our instincts.

Trust your instincts
To reveal
A riveting tale.

One of the ways I’ve come to understand this practice is that each message is like an X that marks the spot on the map of my life — shining a light on something that wants attention, reflection, healing, or sometimes even celebration.

So before the artwork begins, I sit with the message.

I live with it.
I ponder it.
I let it show me what it’s asking me to see.

This page is that moment.

The X that appeared yesterday.

The artwork will come later.

“Easy” and “hard” don’t exist.
Only familiar and unfamiliar.

I’ve been sitting with this.

Sometimes I tell myself something is hard…
But if I’m honest, it’s just unfamiliar.

Charging what I’m worth.
Not chasing.
Holding boundaries.
Letting silence be silence.

It feels uncomfortable because it’s new territory.

But unfamiliar doesn’t mean impossible.

It just means I’m expanding.

And expansion always stretches.

“I AM no longer afraid of my power —
I trust myself to grow and hold more.”

There comes a moment when you realize it’s not the world you’ve been afraid of…

It’s your own expansion.

Your own capacity.
Your own voice.
Your own light.

Growing doesn’t just mean becoming “better.”
It means holding more responsibility.
More visibility.
More abundance.
More love.
More truth.

And that can feel vulnerable.

But this is what I’m learning —
Power isn’t loud.
It isn’t forceful.
It’s the quiet decision to stop shrinking.

To stop apologizing for your depth.
To stop playing small so others feel comfortable.
To trust that you can handle the next level of your life.

Holding more doesn’t mean gripping tighter.
It means strengthening your nervous system.
It means trusting your wisdom.
It means believing you won’t abandon yourself when things expand.

Sometimes we hit a point where we feel… emptied.

It means something inside you needs to be listened to.

I made this piece during a moment of unraveling — a tangle of anxiety and self-abandonment I needed to feel my way through.

The scribbles aren’t decoration.

They’re movement. They’re breath.

Herself
Takes a breath and a swallow of
Shame
There is an empty space

I found this Soul Poetry piece buried in a pile of messages — words I received a long time ago but never turned into art…
Until now.

The truth is, I wasn’t ready to face it back then.
But here it is again.
Still relevant. Still tender. Still true.
Clearly, the lesson is circling back because something in me is ready now.

This piece was created through anxiety — not despite it.
I didn’t wait until I was calm.
I didn’t need to feel “clear” or “healed” to make something.
I just needed to give that inner mess a place to go.
Every scribble, every tangled line, is part of that release.

There are moments when we cut off pieces of ourselves — to make things easier, to be more palatable, to avoid rejection.
And then wonder why the ache doesn’t go away.
This piece speaks to that.

It’s not a solution.
It’s an acknowledgment.

✨Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is witness ourselves honestly.
Even in the shame.
Even in the unraveling.

This piece came through me a while ago…
But it hit me differently this morning.
Like it was waiting for me to be ready. Again.
To listen.
To finally let go.
It’s easy to forget how much we already know deep down.
How many times we’ve already received the message.
This piece reminded me:
I don’t need someone else’s permission to trust what I feel.
I don’t need to keep holding on just because I once did.
I’ve done the work.
And now… it’s time to go.
