"I choose myself first, so I don’t disappear."
I made this collage a while ago…�but honestly? I needed the reminder today.
There are still moments when I catch myself shrinking.�Still days when old patterns pull me toward silence, overgiving, or fading into the background.
And this quote — this image — brought me back.
Choosing myself doesn’t always feel easy.�But it keeps me rooted in who I am.�It keeps me visible to my own soul.

This book is my "story" of the beliefs, memories, and traumas I collected and how they affected my life. The collection of Soul Poetry is my observation, unpacking, and healing of those stories.
We all have experiences that have been with us for the long haul. When it comes down to it, we are responsible for our own healing.

In this 2-part journey at the Center of Life Balance (Medford, NJ), you’ll:
✨ Use a book you’ve never read to uncover words that are waiting for you
✨ Allow those words to reveal a message from your subconscious or higher self
✨ Sit with the message — sometimes it lands instantly, sometimes it whispers days later (yes, even while you’re doing dishes 🫧)
✨ Express the energy of the message through colors, shapes, and lines in your artwork

This isn’t about “writing a poem” or “making pretty art.” It’s about trusting your soul to show you what you most need to hear. 💜

What to Bring: For this journey, please bring 2–3 hardcover books you’ve chosen from a thrift store or secondhand shop. Pick ones you’ve never read before — it’s important that the message isn’t influenced by what you already know about the story.

✨ The more unfamiliar, the better. Your intuition will help you choose the right books. During class, we’ll be pulling pages from them to uncover your soul’s message.

When your Soul Sister believes in your Not Sorry Jar so much ~~~ She prints stickers to spread the message!

One of my best friends Alessandra, was at a concert last week. While standing in line for the restroom, she noticed that all she kept hearing was “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry”. So she went home and ordered these stickers. She confessed to me that in the past week, she’s been sticking them in bathrooms all over the place. 😂😂😂

The Epidemic of Unnecessary Apologies is a THING we all need to end!

We’ve been taught to apologize for everything — even when it’s not needed.

The Not~Sorry Jar is my gentle reminder to pause, drop a pom-pom, and choose a truer response. 🌿

Sometimes that’s “excuse me.” Sometimes it’s “thank you.” Sometimes it’s just standing tall, no apology at all. 💬✨
