Before every workout, there’s a process most people don’t see.
I take time to assess recovery, joint integrity, nervous system readiness, and overall output capacity for the day.
Today’s objective was to train heavy.
After evaluating how my wrist felt, I adjusted the load, controlled the tempo, and prioritized precision over ego. That’s called instinctive training — a skill developed through decades of experience, injuries, coaching thousands of sessions, and learning how to maximize results while minimizing setbacks.
This is the difference between simply working out… and training with intention.
