It’s REALLY important for us all to be super patient with ourselves as we journey back into this new version of normal. We’ve all been traumatized by this year in varying degrees and it’s unlikely our bodies will be as strong and fit as they were before 2020. It is a defense mechanism to get physically tight when stressed out. I promise you, that getting up and working out lightly for even 15 minutes a day without judgement (and without comparing where you are now to where you were a year ago) will greatly improve your mood, reignite some momentum, and put you on the path to becoming stronger then you have ever been before. We will find a new type of strength, a type of strength that comes from overcoming immense pain and grief. Real strength is born at rock bottom.
