Let’s reintroduce ourselves!: Part 2

Our wonderful assistant, baby holder, appointment scheduler, and doing of many things is Megan Nowicki

Megan started MoxieMoms 906 in 2024 after the loss of her daughter, Delaney, in 2021. She’s also the co-owner with her husband, Joe, of NNW tree service. She has a bachelors degree in psychology (she loves people), and has a love for all things self care (acupuncture, massage, therapy, working out, supplements, friendship/girl time).

A fun fact: She has worked in so many different industries and truly believe that each and every job has provided her with the tools, work ethic, compassion and motivation to make a difference. From her first ever job as a dishwasher, to waitressing, becoming a ski lift operator in Colorado, to a salon receptionist, a dental assistant and working for almost a decade as a program specialist in higher education, she believes these experiences have humbled her. She has her own personal struggles and triumphs that allow her the ability to genuinely connect with each patient that comes to TLW.

Megan says, “I am exactly where I am meant to be professionally and I’m so thankful for TWL and for the services Dr Kevin and Dr Brianne provide to myself, my family & our community.”

Let us reintroduce ourselves!

The Living Well consists of a husband-and-wife team including Dr. Kevin- pediatric and prenatal neurological chiropractor and Dr. Brianne- licensed acupuncturist and herbalist.

Dr. Kevin played DII basketball in Minnesota where he was carried off in a stretcher during his last game and told he would never be able to run and play with his kids. A few years later, he tried tonal, neurological chiropractic (the low force, no cracking kind) and to his surprise, he felt amazing and was able to play sports again! This led him into chiropractic school.

Dr. Brianne was always the crunchy type. She started seeing a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist at 18 years old, shopped at a coop in college, and even did stool samples in her apartment with 4 roommates 😜 She loved women’s health and knew women needed more gentle care in today’s fast-paced society, so she decided to specialize in women’s health and aspects women struggle with including PCOS, endometriosis, fertility, pregnancy, digestive issues, sleep concerns, and pain.

Fun fact: Dr. Kevin (basketball) and Dr. Brianne (volleyball) both played college sports at St. Cloud State University in MN but did not date until graduate school! Both our parents were so excited to hear we were dating another athlete until they learned we were both the shortest ones on the team 😂 (we just say we will pass down the quick, defensive skills and not the height!)

What is microneedling and the benefits?

Microneedling utilizes a pen with tiny needles to create micro-traumas in the skin to increase collagen, elastin, and keratinocytes.

The benefits include 3000x more product absorption (with that we use hulauronic acid, apple stem cells, and Chinese herbs for the best results depending on your specific skin type and goals), 400% increase in collagen (provides support and elasticity to the skin) after the recommended 4 treatments, minimizing acne scars and hyperpigmentation.

At TLW, we end the treatment with red light therapy to decrease redness and inflammation.

Downtime for microneedling is 12-24 hours. Most people say it feels like a sunburn after the treatment and is more enjoyable than they thought!

Results are best seen over 4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. If you buy a package of 4, we discount services 20%.

IT’S OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY! 🎉

We can’t believe we are already 1 year old!

HUGE thank you to this community - we have been welcomed with open arms and we are so so grateful.

Over the past year we have said countless prayers, given countless hugs, shared tears & laughs and have made friends that we can’t believe we ever lived without.

What does an acupuncture fertility consult look like?

1. Take your HRV (Heart Rate Variability): HRV is a measurement of the autonomic nervous system. Your body NEEDS to feel safe to become pregnant, hence why your nervous system is so important! Research shows acupuncture improves HRV and a better HRV correlates with improved fertility across the board from natural conception to IUI/IVF.

2. Go over your paperwork/full health history consultation: We will go over your entire health history, because it all matters with fertility! We will talk about your menstrual cycle, digestion, sleep, and more.

3. Acupuncture!: You’ll get a relaxing acupuncture treatment to end the appointment -> the best part!

4. At follow up appointments we go over your care plan, HRV, and next steps. If you commit to care, each patient receives a 30-page booklet on fertility and pregnancy including nutrition, information about lowering environment toxins, and more!
