To the residents of the six communities we proudly serve:
Yesterday our team members successfully completed their annual proficiency testing, an important part of ensuring the highest level of care for you and your families.
Each team member is required to pass a series of evaluations designed to confirm they are fully prepared to work on an ambulance. These tests assess critical skills, physical readiness, and clinical decision-making. In addition, our crews receive training on new procedures and updated techniques so they always remain current with the latest best practices in emergency medicine.
This year marked a first for any EMS service in our region: our proficiency testing was performed using cadavers. This allowed our teams to learn and practice in the most realistic and meaningful environment possible — an opportunity that directly improves the quality of care we deliver in real emergencies.
Quality EMS is committed to having the best-trained people providing the best care anywhere, and this is just one more example of that commitment in action.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the 14 individuals who donated their bodies to science and made this training possible. Their extraordinary gift allows us to better care for our six communities and ensures we are prepared for any emergency we may face.
Thank you for trusting Quality EMS. We are honored to serve you.
