Cold Laser or Low Level Laser Therapy is used in a wide variety of applications. I mostly use the cold laser to help with areas of pain, but here in the pic, I used laser treatment to help an open abcess caused by Pigeon Fever. The laser penetrates deep and brings oxygen and nutrients to the area of concern. It also opens up cells, so infected cells can be carried away by the body more efficiently. The laser can promote faster healing in wounds as well as stiff, sore joints and muscles. This picture shows the abscess before (bottom) and then 24 hours later (top) with only two laser treatments. You can see the black dead tissue is going away and the yellow infected material has diminished greatly.
