Peace does not mean feeling only joy. True peace allows space for many feelings—joy, gratitude, tenderness, and sometimes grief.
Grief is not something to fix or rush through. It is a natural response to love: the depth of grief we feel often reflects the depth of what—and whom—we have loved and lost.
The holidays can hold both warmth and heaviness at the same time. This is part of being human. There is no “right” way to grieve, and everyone carries it differently.
