The quality of the food you eat matters - and your children. Eat real food.

What does that mean?

Stay away from packaged foods.

Remove foods with hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, hydrolyzed proteins, artificial dyes, added sugar, etc)

Eliminate foods with artificial flavors, emulsifiers, colors, etc.

Examples of foods to avoid:

- sodas 🥤
- chips
- candy 🍬
- processed meats (deli meat, hot dogs, sausage, bacon, chicken nuggets, etc.)
- mass produced bread
- “organic” children snacks (they are still processed!)
- etc.

Think of food in its original form directly from nature. Choose a whole apple 🍎 over juice🧃 . A chicken 🐓 breast over chicken nuggets. Homemade protein balls instead of store bought protein bars.

Buy real, whole foods and make everything from scratch to avoid ultra-processed foods.

You and your family deserve better.

SALMON CAESAR SALAD! 🥗 Try it with salmon, shrimp, chicken, or whatever protein you like! This really hit the spot! 😋

The key is to add in plants for fiber to go along with the protein…

Here is what I put in mine.

🥗 Air fried salmon
🥗 Romaine (chopped)
🥗 Brown rice/quinoa mix
🥗 Cucumbers 🥒
🥗 Cherry tomatoes 🍅
🥗 Red onion 🧅
🥗 Pine nuts
🥗 Caesar dressing (only as much as you need)

Be creative and enjoy the mixture of fresh vegetables, whole grains, and salmon. So good!

Prep all the ingredients and store in fridge separately. Then, each day, create your salad…. Prepping ahead of time saves you time, and keeps you on track for eating healthy.

✅ Once the salmon is gone, I’ll be using shrimp instead! Super quick and easy meals for the week!

PROTEIN PANCAKES 🥞 If you are looking for a protein packed breakfast that is filling PLUS, low in carbs and higher in fiber, check these out.

Ingredients:

🥞 1 C Egg Whites 🥚
🥞 60 g Plant-based Protein Powder (I used vanilla)
🥞 1 Tbsp Ground Fax Seed
🥞 Blueberries and/or Unsweetened Peanut Butter

Mix the egg whites, protein powder, and flax well. Add mixture to a pan and shape into pancakes.

I pushed in some blueberries (in one) after I had it in the pan but before it cooked.

I added peanut butter to one after it cooked.

The 3rd, was too much, so that’s going in the fridge for tomorrow.

If you are a texture person - BEWARE! Plain ones won’t be your thing. Adding in fruit or topping with nut butter definitely helps!

It’s a great start to a day!

💤 SLEEP LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!💤 Because it does….

Sleep is not a luxury — it’s a biological necessity.😴

When you sleep, your body goes into repair mode.
- Hormones rebalance.
- Muscles recover.
- Your brain clears out toxins.
- Blood sugar stabilizes.
- Inflammation decreases.
- Cravings regulate.
- Stress hormones lower.

Without enough quality sleep:
• Fat loss becomes harder
• Muscle recovery slows
• Hunger hormones increase
• Cortisol rises
• Focus and patience drop
• Immunity weakens

You can eat clean and work out consistently, but if you’re sleeping 4–5 hours a night, your body is constantly playing defense instead of thriving.

Sleep is the foundation.

Protect it like your health depends on it — because it does.

Every trainer has their own style and personality. I'm very different from a regular trainer. Why? Because I take an overall holistic approach.

Typically, a trainer is just that....a trainer. Sometimes they'll have a little extra certification in sports nutrition to help fuel workouts and progress.

I, on the other hand, have a Master's in Holistic Health & Nutrition Education and a Natural Health Certification. That's a lot more education on nutrition and how your body works that will help create lifetime strategies for overall health & wellness - not just fueling your body and tracking calories and macros.

A holistic approach focuses on building a sustainable, healthy LIFE specific to you - not just fueling a workout. That's a huge difference.
