We can hardly believe that Baby Cole—a.k.a 🕶️ Cool Cole 🕶️ and the little one of our team member Sloane—is about to celebrate their very first birthday! 🥳💛

Watching this kiddo grow over the past year has been such a joy around the office, and as we celebrate this milestone, it’s the perfect time to answer a question we hear all the time: When should my baby have their first eye exam?

➡️ Between 6–12 months old.
➡️ Even earlier if your baby was premature, has a family history of eye issues, or you notice anything unusual.
➡️ After that, plan on routine screenings every two years unless your doctor recommends otherwise.

Early eye exams help us make sure your child’s vision is developing exactly as it should—and catching concerns early makes all the difference. So while we’re celebrating Baby Cole today, we’re also here to help you celebrate your little one’s milestones, too. 💞
