We have officially sold our home and will be closing our business first part of June. Thank you to everyone for the support over the years. Please reach out and visit us so we can see you one last time before relocating to Stanley area.

It is with heavy hearts that we have put our home up for sale. We appreciate all the love, support, and friendships we developed over the years!

We want to assure you that the residents will be in great hands no matter what or how things happen.

For those who don't know staffing has been a major issue for us. We either cannot find help, if we did they didn't show or quit before they started or our residents were neglected and we had to end employment. We refuse to lower our standards at the risk of not having top notch care for our residents. They deserve reliable and caring staff. Since Dec 31 2021 our mindset has changed with baby Joanne. We want to be able to make memories as a family and not be consumed by work.

Are you a team player looking for a part time or full time job?!?

We currently have a position that recently opened up. You would provide care to some of the best people in this world! You would be responsible for 4 residents daily cares, med administration, meals, & basic cleaning. Our home is very laid back and easy going! Experience is not required. We are willing to train! Must be 18 years old or older & pass a background check. Part time would be every other weekend only. You would arrive at our home Friday evening, staying all weekend at our home and leaving Sunday evening. You will be able to sleep at night as we are a sleep house. Full time would be every other weekend and hours during the week. Hours can be flexible during the week. Pay range is $12-$15/hour but we can discuss specifics during your interview.

Our second surprise of the year......

We have greatly appreciated the previous owners to allow us to carry on the Comforts of Home name with the amazing reputation that came with it! The time has come that Justin & I (Amber) have decided that we want our home to personally reflect on our values and beliefs in a family friendly environment. Our new name will be Holland's House of Hope LLC! We look forward to hold the same reputation and great values as we always have. Our name may have changed however our care and passion won't!
