🩵Friendly Reminder🩵

We have been receiving several inquiries again regarding housekeeping services. While we don’t mind helping out our clients with a little tidying in their homes such as (a quick load of laundry or a kitchen floor sweep) we are most certainly not housekeepers nor do we advertise those services.

Our top priority has always been the loving & compassionate care we provide to our clients.

While we do not offer a cleaning type service we do have some wonderful recommendations of cleaners we’d be happy to share.

Update: Toni has been located. Sadly, she was found deceased. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her family, friends, and everyone who cared for her.

🚨 MISSING ENDANGERED PERSON ALERT 🚨

The Rice Lake Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating 60-year-old Toni Ann Peterson.

Toni left Woodstone Senior Living in Rice Lake on November 3, 2025, without notice. During a welfare check, staff found a note of concern and her cell phone left behind.

A license plate reader detected her vehicle later that morning at 10:59 AM in Ashland, WI (Lake Shore Dr W / 17th Ave W NB), but there have been no further sightings since.

Blue eyes | Gray shoulder-length hair
Last seen wearing: Unknown
Driving a gray 2020 Honda CR-V, WI plate AKL4656

Family believes Toni may still be in the northern Wisconsin area near Ashland.

Our team recognizes family caregivers every day and are proud to announce November as National Family Caregivers Month. According to a new report from AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving, 63 million Americans now provide unpaid care to an adult or child with health or functional needs—a nearly 50% increase since 2015. 57% of Wisconsin caregivers struggle to find free time for themselves.

Join Kathy Mitchell, a retired psychotherapist and family caregiver, at our Caregiver Support Group on Wednesday, November 19th at 10:00 am. For questions or information contact the Vilas County ADRC at 715-479-3625.

We host a monthly caregiver support group every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Vilas County ADRC from 10:00 to 11:00 am. All family caregivers are welcome.

Peace Of Mind has weekend care availability in both the Marshfield & Minocqua areas.

Weekend care may be scheduled between the hours of Fridays beginning at 6pm through Monday mornings at 7am. A minimum of 12 hours of continuous care is required for all weekend scheduling options.

Minocqua availability~Tuesdays (7:30am & 5pm)
Marshfield availability~Thursdays (8am)

What does our bathing service only option include?

This service is designed for our folks that may need a bit of assistance while bathing only with no additional cares. Whether just a watchful eye for safety or a tender scrub P.O.M has you covered. This service commonly takes less than one hour & includes showering assistance, bed baths, full body lotion, grooming, shaving, dressing, hair care, oral care, & nail care.
