He also holds a Healthcare Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas, and fellow status from the American Academy of Neurology and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Dr. Faber relocated to Marshfield with his wife. The couple have two adult children.
Jeff Hill
CEO, Gene Hill Construction
"I grew up in Marshfield and attended Marshfield Senior High. I attended University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse studying Math and Computer Science. I worked very briefly at a bank after college and realized quickly that inside desk work wasn't for me.
Settling back into Marshfield for what was to be a few years while I figured out what job to take, I found a great gal from Auburndale and a short time turned into a long time and we started a family as I slowly started running Gene Hill Construction with my father.
I am passionate about the growth of Marshfield. I feel that in order to continue our wonderful school system, health system, professional scene etc. Marshfield needs to grow. Marshfield Clinic has been such an important part of my profession in that so many of my customers have a connection to the Clinic. I also have many friends with connections to Marshfield Clinic. I'm proud to help the Clinic continue to serve our communities."
Douglas Reding, M.D.
Retired Physician, Marshfield Clinic Health System
"Growing up on a farm in rural Iowa, I learned to be organized, help out and was involved in learning, sports and music. At an early age I knew I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. I went to the University of Iowa for undergraduate and medical school degrees, and then completed training in residency and fellowship programs in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. After training, I knew I wanted to be at a medical center that provided comprehensive, integrated patient care, research and graduate medical education opportunities. Marshfield Clinic was a fit for that need. At Marshfield Clinic, I had wonderful patients, excellent colleagues and the ability to be involved in clinical research, graduate medical education and leadership roles."
